Boeing names new SVP supply chain and operations
Jenette Ramos has been appointed as senior vice-president, supply chain & operations of the US aircraft company Boeing, with immediate effect.
Ramos, a 29 year company veteran with executive leadership roles in fabrication, supplier management, and environment, health and safety, replaces Pat Shanahan, who has been nominated to serve as US deputy secretary of defence.
Ramos, most recently vice-president and general manager of fabrication at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, now will oversee the company's manufacturing operations and supplier management functions.
Her tasks include the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and global supply chain strategies. She also leads Boeing's environment, health and safety organization. She becomes a member of Boeing’s executive council and reports to the company’s chairman, president and CEO Dennis Muilenburg. (ah)
