Confirmed Munich airport boss to lead ACI Europe
Michael Kerkloh was elected president of Airports Council International Europe (ACI Europe) at its annual assembly in Paris this week.
Kerkloh, a long standing member of the airport industry, has been in charge of Munich airport since 2002. Earlier this month, his position of president and CEO of the German airport was reconfirmed until 2019.
Stephan Widrig, Jean-Michel Vernhes, Giulio De Metrio, Jost Lammers - executive managers of the airports of Zurich, Toulouse, Milan and Budapest, and Javier Marin from the Spanish airport operator Aena were appointed to the ACI Europe board for a first term in office.
Nazareno Ventola (Bologna) and Gedeminas Almantas (Lithuanian Airports) were both reappointed for a second term. (ah)
