Inglese confirmed as aircraft lessor's CEO
Ron Wainshal, the CEO of Aircastle, a US company that acquires, leases and sells commercial jet aircraft to airlines worldwide, is stepping aside to focus on his health and recovery, and has handed over his duties to Michael J. Inglese.
Inglese has served as Aircastle’s CFO since 2007 and more recently as acting CEO after Wainshal began his medical leave of absence in January 2017. Inglese has now been named CEO and appointed to the board of directors.
As a consequence, the board promoted Aaron Dahlke to CFO and interim chief accounting officer. Dahlke has been chief accounting officer since 2005. Roy Chandran has also been promoted to EVP, corporate finance and strategy and will report to the the CEO.
Aircastle currently has eight freighter aircraft in its portfolio. (ah)
