MSC recruits seasoned professional as EVP
Tomorrow (1 July 2017) Bud Darr is joining the MSC Group as executive vice-president, maritime policy and government affairs.
Darr, a seasoned professional with over 25 years’ experience in the international maritime field, was most recently SVP of technical and regulatory affairs for the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).
In his new role, Darr will hold global responsibilities for the MSC Group’s different business interests, including the cargo, container terminal, and cruises divisions. Moreover, the development of a central government affairs function at the group’s global headquarters in Geneva will be one of his key priorities. (ah)
