Canadian North resumes regional routes
Today (17 May 2017), Canadian North is launching a new flight schedule with the ability to accommodate even more cargo across its network. The move is due to the termination of a codeshare partnership with First Air.
Canadian North sees "ample demand and strong potential to grow its market-share" within 18 markets in its network, including the four communities where it will resume or significantly expand its operations - Pangnirtung, Qikiqtarjuaq, Pond Inlet and Kugluktuk. These flights with DHC-8 aircraft, provide between 840 kg and 5 t of cargo through four different configurations.
The airline has operated passenger and cargo services to/from the country’s northern regions for more than 80 years. (ah)
