Italian forwarder renewing one in six trucks
The Italian service provider Autotrasporti Pigliacelli has taken delivery of 104 Scania trucks, including the first new generation Scania S 500 in Italy, and a liquid gas powered truck. The company is renewing more one in six vehicles in its 600-vehicle strong fleet with the new tractor units.
Autotrasporti Pigliacelli was established in the early 20th century when Sisto Pigliacelli started transporting grain and livestock produce.
Today, the company is managed by the third generation of the family and has its headquarters in Veroli, as well as depots outside Rome, Turin and L’Aquila. (ben)
