Stüer named DB Cargo board member for sales
Andreas Busemann gave up his post as member of the management board for sales at DB Cargo, as of 14 March 2017. He will pursue activities outside the German rail transport group. DB Cargo’s supervisory board chose Raimund Stüer to replace Busemann.
As a member of DB Cargo's five-strong management board, Stüer is responsible for all the domestic and pan-European sales and marketing activities of Europe's largest freight operating company.
Stüer has spent most of his career to date in railfreight transport. A co-founder of the private freight operator TX Logistik, he established the company as an international provider on the north-south corridor from 2000 to 2011. He also served as SVP at Kuehne + Nagel Management, where his responsibilities included global products and services in rail and intermodal logistics. (ah)
