At Hamburg Harbour, the German provider Greiwing logistics for you is expanding its portfolio with the acquisition of a new 28,000 sqm centre for the storage and distribution of spices and herbs.
Located in Altenwerder, Vollhöfner Weiden, the site enables access to the nearby container terminals as well as several road transport networks. It will feature more than 40,000 pallet spaces, thus quadrupling the company’s capacities.
Building on more than 70 years of industry experience, Greiwing’s main focus will be on food logistics, namely demetallisation, sieving, cleaning and disinfection in autoclaves. This site will act as a central touchpoint for Greiwing’s spices and herbs logistics. 20 employees will be working at the new location. (mk)
