Jaguar Land Rover renews Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics contract 08. Februar 2010

The Scandinavian logistics provider Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) has renewed a contract with Jaguar Land Rover to ship its vehicles from the UK to North America and Oceania. The company has been working closely with both Jaguar and Land Rover since the 1980s, and the new long-term contract reinforces the joint quality and product improvement work for the logistics services. The contract will see WWL ship approximately 45,000 Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles from Southampton in 2010, with the destinations including Baltimore, Brunswick, Port Hueneme (all USA), Halifax (Canada), Fremantle, Melbourne Port Kembla (Australia) and Auckland (New Zealand). The company will also provide terminal services for receiving all Jaguar and Land Rover models in Southampton, one of WWL's key hub ports in Europe.
