The MOSOLF Group has decided to realign its corporate management to set the course for the future. Patrick Oestreich will join the Executive Board on February 1, 2026, and will assume the position of Chairman of the Board on July 1, 2026. Dr. Jörg Mosolf, the current Chairman, will oversee the transition until his retirement on June 30, 2026. In his role as Managing Director of MOSOLF Port Logistics & Services, Dr. Mosolf will remain active and will advise the Board on mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and corporate strategy.
Patrick Oestreich brings over 20 years of experience in the logistics and transportation industry. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and has previously held senior positions at XPO Logistics and DB Schenker. His international experience and deep understanding of market and customer requirements are expected to support the further development of the MOSOLF Group. Oestreich emphasizes that the transition will be orderly and in close collaboration with Dr. Mosolf, providing a solid foundation for the upcoming steps in corporate development.
Strategic Realignment and Expansion
As part of a strategic realignment that began in early 2024, the MOSOLF Group is being divided into two core business units: „Logistics & Services“ and „Special Vehicles.“ The first unit focuses on transport and location logistics as well as technology and services, while the second covers the construction of special vehicles for internal security, defense, and disaster relief. Additionally, in 2024, MOSOLF Port Logistics & Services GmbH was established, operating maritime logistics locations in Wilhelmshaven, Cuxhaven, and Zeebrugge.
The acquisition of Transport Overseas Group (TO Group) on January 2, 2025, strengthens the MOSOLF Group in the areas of Roll-On/Roll-Off, Break Bulk, project logistics, and High & Heavy, expanding the global network for maritime transport solutions. Furthermore, the acquisition of STOOF International GmbH starting in April 2025 will enhance capacities in the field of armored special vehicles. These steps underscore the ambitions of the MOSOLF Group to further expand its market position and adapt to the challenges of the industry.
