Jan 21, 2026 at 8:53 AMDunkerque-Port recently announced the winners of a call for expressions of interest during its annual press conference. The aim of this call was the revitalization of a part of the former SRD refinery site. The selected projects will be jointly led by Technip Energies, a company specializing in technology and engineering, and Tepsa, an operator focused on the storage of liquid substances.
Planned Projects to Promote the Energy Transition
As part of this initiative to pool resources and optimize industrial processes, Technip Energies plans to establish a production facility for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) based on second-generation ethanol, as reported by the port. Tepsa is also set to build a new import-export terminal for liquid bulk goods and will take over all maritime logistics services for Technip Energies. The total investment is estimated by the port to be around 1.7 billion euros.
