The company, which specializes in converting Airbus A321-200PCF freighters, announced that Erickson Group Ltd. has increased its majority stake in 321 Precision Conversions through its subsidiary Precision Aircraft Solutions, LLC. This was achieved by acquiring the minority stake held by Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG) through its subsidiary Cargo Aircraft Management, Inc.
Strategic Realignment
Gary Warner, President of 321 Precision Conversions, commented on the move, emphasizing that the complete acquisition by Erickson represents an important strategic turning point for the future of the company. This development allows 321 Precision Conversions to invest more in employees, partners, and future conversion programs. Warner thanked ATSG for its support and collaboration in the past and reaffirmed that they will continue to operate as a customer for ATSG.
Dylan Garner, President of the Erickson Group, highlighted the importance of the partnership with ATSG and emphasized confidence in the platform as well as the team at 321 Precision Conversions. He expressed optimism regarding the long-term demand for narrow-body freighters and announced plans to further invest in the next growth phase of the program based on this foundation.
Transfer of Interests
Todd France, Chief Commercial Officer of ATSG, stated that ATSG has played an active role in the development and launch of the A321PCF program. He welcomed the transfer of interests to Erickson and expressed the expectation that Erickson’s leadership will guide 321 Precision Conversions into the next phase. ATSG will continue to market the leased A321 freighter as part of its broader leasing portfolio.
321 Precision Conversions will continue to serve customers worldwide, offering engineering, certification, and MRO services.
