Additional rail capacity for Canada’s industry
Cando Rail Services has opened the Cando Sturgeon Terminal in Sturgeon County, Alberta, Canada. The terminal provides additional rail capacity to Alberta’s industy and expands Cando’s national network. With the completion of Phase 1, Cando Sturgeon Terminal can store up to 1,900 railcars utilising a loop-track system.
The intermodal hub is centrally located in Alberta’s industrial heartland directly west of the Canadian National Railway (CN) Beamer Spur and serviced by CN.
The terminal offers services seven days per week for railcar staging and storage, including unit-train storage capability, for short or long-term, loaded or empty railcars, as well as various value-added services. (ben)
