Aegean's second new Cyprus route

From today, 12 December 2019, the Greek airline Aegean will connect Athens with Pafos (Cyprus) with two weekly scheduled flights throughout the year, with the possibility of adding a third flight during the peak season, thereby improving accessibility through new connections to key markets of the international network.

The new destination complements the already existing connectivity from Cyprus, and along with the new direct route from Larnaca to Beirut (Lebanon), which has already been running twice a week since 7 October, Aegean will operate a total of five destinations from the island state in the Eastern Mediterranean (Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion in Greece, Tel Aviv (Israel) and Beirut).

By adding these two new routes, Aegean plans to boost capacities in its international network in 2020. (ah)
