AI tackles Europe’s driver shortage
Capa Transport & Mobility has launched a digital, AI-based portal to streamline the recruitment of professional truck and bus drivers.
Candidates introduce themselves through short video pitches, allowing companies to assess language skills and presentation before scheduling online meetings. More than 8,000 applicants are currently awaiting classification and pre-training in North Africa, where they prepare for theoretical exams for driving licences B, C and D as well as the basic qualification. Once a match is made, Capa handles all administrative steps, from visa formalities to licence conversion and integration support.
The Mainz (Germany)-based company aims to accelerate international driver recruitment while ensuring transparency and quality across the transport and public transit sectors. (ah)
