ANZ moving to Heathrow's Dnata City too
Air New Zealand Cargo has moved its Heathrow operations to the new Dnata City at London Heathrow. The New Zealand flag carrier is now located at unit three of the purpose-built cargo logistics centre after 17 years at its previous handling unit. With an average of 1.4 million kg throughput a month, Dnata will provide two dedicated shift managers who will monitor Air New Zealand’s cargo products 24/7.
In addition to its new airfreight warehouse, transportation and yard for airside operations, the carrier will also have access to Dnata City’s purpose-built pets reception centre.
Dnata is one of the world’s largest air services providers, offering ground and cargo handling, travel, technology solutions and in-flight catering. Established in 1959, Dnata now employs over 23,000 staff in 38 countries across five continents and has ground handling businesses in 22 of the world’s busiest airports.
