BLG simplifies structures

The BLG Group, based in Bremen (Germany), has restructured its forwarding activities by merging its recently acquired companies - Infortra, Logfortra, Arno Rosenlöcher, and Kitzinger & Co - into a single unit. The new entity operates under the name BLG International Forwarding.

BLG Cargo Logistics’ the forwarding office, which was established more than 20 years ago in Bremen, is not affected by the change. BLG has established its forwarding business segment as the third pillar of its contract logistics division, alongside industrial and retail logistics.

Since May 2017, after the acquisition of Arno Rosenlöcher and Kitzinger & Co, the network has consisted of thirteen regional branches throughout Germany. These branches continue to offer independent forwarding services by road, rail, water, and air – now pooled under a single brand - to customers from the medium-sized enterprise market. (mw)
