British honours for Stena Line chairman
Ken Macleod, the chairman of Stena Line in UK, has been awarded an Order of the British Empire in the recent Queen’s Birthday honours list. Macleod was given the accolade in recognition of his services to the shipping industry, as well as for his extensive charitable work. Born on the Isle of Skye (Scotland) and now a resident of Gourock, Macleod has been a prominent figure in the shipping industry for many years and is also the current president of the UK Chamber of Shipping. He joined Stena Line in 1978.
