Building a second multicube
A newspaper, a few coins and a certificate commemorating the event were interred in a time-capsule that managing partner Karl-Martin Pfenning buried in the foundations of the new Multicube Rheinhessen building. In Monsheim, near Worms (Germany) the company Pfenning Logistics is building its second multicube building – one of Europe's most modern logistics centres, which has been under construction since March. It is due to be finished in the first quarter of next year.
Thanks to its modular construction the 55,000 sqm facility will enable Pfenning Logistics' clients to process industrial and trading goods, including foodstuffs, pharmaceutical products, consumer and temperature-controlled goods, in the centre, and deliver them to market with the shortest of supply chains.
