Cargo iQ: new board members to continue strategy

Cargo iQ, a cross-stakeholder supply chain quality management organisation, recently appointed two new board members, Fedor Nokikov (photo) as marketing director at Volga-Dnepr Group and Clark Fritzsch as global head of business process management at Hellmann. It also re-elected its chair Henrik Ambak and vice chair Kerstin Strauss for a further two-year term.

The two board members were welcomed to their posts at Cargo iQ’s Working Group (WG) last month. Novikov replaces Mark Albrecht, director for cargo, logistics, compliance, finance, United Airlines, and Fritzsch succeeds Markus Muecke, managing director, Im3pact, who has become an advisor of the board.

The new members are joined by Emanuel Hille, director eCargo Solutions, Champ Cargosystems, who replaces Laurent Jossa, who left the logistics IT provider last month, as an observer of the board, which is made up of 13 members.

Sub WG’s (sWGs), in which eight areas of focus for Cargo iQ members were discussed, have set schedules for additional meetings between now and November 2021.

They also defined the supply chain community’s goals for the year, which include ‘achieving 100% reporting’, ‘making active efforts to reach out to and engage with small and medium sized forwarders that do not currently utilise the benefits of Cargo iQ’, as well as ‘ensure Cargo iQ truly enact its quality management system by enhancing its service delivery support functionality in addition to post-event reporting’.
