Caribbean Airlines: Cargo service to Curaçao

Through a partnership with Maduro Air Freight Services, a GSSA anchored in the region since 1837 with stations in Willemstad, Kralendijk (Bonaire) and Oranjestad (Aruba), Trinidad-and-Tobago-based Caribbean Airlines has launched twice weekly cargo operations between Trinidad and Curaçao. For shipments beyond its hub, the airline will use the scheduled flights throughout its network as well as its dedicated all-cargo freighter, which operates five times per week via Miami.

CEO Garvin Medera: "This new service will improve connectivity and increase opportunities for trade and the movement of cargo between Curaçao, the wider Caribbean and the world. Caribbean Airlines is experienced in shipping a range of commodities including general cargo, perishable goods and live animals." (ah)
