Celebrating women shaping the air cargo industry
At the first-ever "Women in Air Cargo Awards" held during Aviation Connect in Copenhagen last Wednesday (15 October), Anna Balan (second from the left) of Awery Aviation Software and Petra Justová (third from the left) of 4RCargo were among the winners celebrating female achievement across the air cargo supply chain.
Balan, Head of CargoBooking, won in the IT category for her leadership in advancing digitalisation through Awery’s instant air cargo booking platform. Justová, Country Manager Czechia at 4RCargo, was recognised in the RFS/GSSA category for her innovative contributions to the Czech market and her work as one of the youngest senior female managers in the industry.
Both honourees highlighted the importance of visibility and recognition for women shaping the future of aviation. (ah)
