Challenge launches freighters to Bangalore
Malta-based Challenge Group has launched a weekly freighter service to Bangalore (India), deploying a Boeing 767-300BDSF with a 50-t capacity there.
The new route strengthens Challenge’s southern Indian presence and expands its connectivity between India, the Middle East, Europe and North America. It complements the group’s existing three weekly flights to Mumbai, supporting key verticals such as pharmaceuticals, high-tech and temperature-sensitive goods.
The company’s global network includes daily flights between Tel Aviv and Liège, and frequent connections from Liège and Tel Aviv to New York, Houston and Atlanta (all USA).
“Our decision to launch a regular India–Middle East–Europe service responds to growing demand along this key production corridor,” said Challenge Group CCO Or Zak. (ah)
