Chemical logistics company replaces CEO

A&R Logistics, a provider of US supply chain services to the chemical industry based in Houston, has named president Chris Ball (photo) CEO. Ball was promoted as part of a leadership transition plan that the outgoing CEO, Mark Holden, who joined A&R as president and CEO in 2012, and A&R’s board of directors adopted in 2019.

Ball will also remain president, while Holden is retiring. Holden will however continue to serve as co-chairman of the board.

Ball had worked in various leadership positions at A&R for more than five years before he was elected president in 2020. He has over 25 years’ experience in the supply chain and logistics industry with expertise in technology and the creation of start-ups, strategy, M&A and general management. (amh)
