China resumes export train operations


China has resumed its export train operation after the breakout of the coronavirus crisis. Last Friday (14.2.2020), a freight train loaded with 49 containers left Dongguan, Guangdong province, north of Hong-Kong. The train is expected to arrive in the Kaluga region in Russia in about two weeks.

 

On Sunday (16.2.2020), a freight train loaded with 41 containers also departed in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, heading for Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

 

Furthermore, on Thursday (13.2.2020) a train with 82 containers left Jinhua, Zheijiang province, in eastern China. It is now en route to China’s Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region in Central Asia, according the Chinese Government. The train runs through Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and the Horgos port. (ben)
