Cold chain visibility for Yusen
Yusen Logistics’ European healthcare division has implemented 'Nic-Place', a carrier visibility platform from FourKites, to improve tracking of temperature-controlled shipments.
The solution enables real-time monitoring of deliveries and automated alerts for deviations to prevent delays.
The platform allows Yusen to track nearly 100% of shipments in Europe. The previous system managed to keep track of around 70% of all shipments, according to Nic-Place managing director Kevin Kruekis. This upgrade has replaced a legacy system and aims to improve customer services whilst increasing operational efficiency in pharmaceutical logistics. (js)
