CTP developing logistics site for E.On
CTP is developing a 12,000 m² build-to-suit facility in the ‘CTPark Mülheim’ for Westenergie, a subsidiary of E.On.
The new property will host metering units, a logistics centre and a certified calibration laboratory.
Located near Duisburg and Essen, the site is part of a major transformation of a former Vallourec steel plant into a 160,000 m² innovation park for tech industries. CTP acquired the 335,000 m² area in late 2023.
The project is designed for sustainability and targets DGNB ‘gold’ certification, including plans for solar energy. It offers various road links to key Rhine-Ruhr cities and major ports in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Marc Buchholz, mayor of Mülheim, welcomed the project as a sign of regional strength. CTP's Timo Hielscher underlined the benefits of re-using unused industrial land. Completion is scheduled for Q3/2027.
