Dash expands With new site in Cullompton
The Dash Group has significantly bolstered its presence in the south west of England with the opening of a new, expansive site in Cullompton, aimed at enhancing service for local SMEs. This new facility, designated as Dash Express' Exeter location, spans 1,000 sqm and doubles the company's previous capacity, benefiting from improved access to the M5 corridor. The site not only provides operational efficiency by consolidating services previously spread across Exeter and north Devon but also extends delivery coverage to Taunton, Somerset and north Devon, achieving full regional service coverage.
Paul Dash, operations director, emphasised that this move is pivotal for both the business and its customers, allowing for better service amid growing demand. With over 170 staff employed across its operations, the new site will support a team of 35 under the leadership of depot general manager Mike Read. Dervla Gallagher, network director at The APC, highlighted the significance of local delivery specialists in the community. This expansion aligns The Dash Group with its strategic goal of providing nationwide logistics solutions while remaining deeply connected to local businesses across Devon and Cornwall.
