Deutsche Post and German Football Association renew contract
Deutsche Post and the German Football Association (DFB) have agreed to extend their partnership. The new agreement includes, among other events, the Women’s World Cup in France and the men’s 2020 European Championship.
“Just like our company, football brings people together all around the world, which is why we’re happy to continue our successful partnership with the DFB,” says Arjan Sissing, head of brand marketing at Deutsche Post DHL Group. Deutsche Post remains the DFB’s logistics partner and will continue to oversee the worldwide transport of equipment for all of the association’s men’s, women’s and junior teams.
Deutsche Post DHL Group will also contribute its core competencies to the partnership. “This is particularly important for us, because as exclusive logistics partner, we ensure the carriage of a wide range of related items – from jerseys, balls and shoes to training, IT and marketing equipment – and of course the players’ luggage,” says Sissing.
