Dia opens logistics centre in Andalusia
Spanish retailer Dia has inaugurated a new logistics centre in Dos Hermanas, near Seville, as part of its strategic plan 'Growing every day'. The EUR 50 million facilities span 53,000 m² and will serve 235 stores across Seville, Cádiz and Huelva. With the aim to be fully operational from mid-June, the site is expected to process 2.6 million boxes per month and employ around 230 staff members.
Built to Breeam ‘Very Good’ standards, it includes over 2,000 m² of solar panels and a dedicated area for reverse logistics. With 101 loading docks and extensive temperature-controlled chambers, the centre enhances Dia’s regional supply capacity while supporting sustainability goals. (js)
