E-trucks for hinterland logistics provider

E-Force One has symbolically handed over the keys for two fully electric semi-trailers to Contargo. The container hinterland logistics network has thus received the first two fully electronic 44 t trucks produced by the Swiss manufacturer and the third and fourth e-trucks for its fleet.

Rhenus Trucking bought the two semi-trailers in order to make them available to Contargo as a service provider. Contargo, which already deploys two e-trucks in Duisburg, Germany, will use the two vehicles for container transport for local deliveries in the Lower Rhine region in future. The EF18 SZM of E-Force One has a range of about 250 km and a maximum speed of 87 km/h. (ben)
