Eric Malitzke moves to DPD Germany

Erich Malitzke is to reinforce the management team at DPD Germany. After an induction phase of several months he will take over the reins at the company as CEO of DPD Germany at the beginning of 2020.

The long-standing CEO Boris Winkelmann, who has been heading DPD since 2013, will assume new responsibilities in the headquarters of the international DPD Group in Paris as from next year. Until then, he is preparing a smooth changeover to his successor in DPD Germany.

“We are very pleased to have found in Malitzke an executive who has the necessary experience to further the development of DPD Germany," says DPD CEO Boris Winkelmann. Malitzke has been working as CEO for Fiege Switzerland since 2015. Before that, he had overseen the setting up of logistics hubs in Poland for Amazon as director operations since 2012. Born in Frankfurt, Malitzke started his professional career at the port operator Fraport. (mw)
