Feteia-Oltyra discusses regulations with authorities

Feteia-Oltyra held a meeting with Elena Maria Atance, the director general of road and rail transport, to discuss upcoming regulatory changes affecting the transport sector in 2026. The meeting addressed concerns about emissions regulations, multimodality and digital documentation, with key figures from the federation, including director Blanca Guitart and technical secretary Martín Fernández, participating. Enric Ticó, the federation's president, highlighted the necessity of operational border control points to enhance multimodal transport efficiency.

Additionally, the federation is actively monitoring the convention on negotiable cargo documents to improve legal security and documentation interoperability. Feteia-Oltyra also presented strategic plans for its XIV congress in 2026, set to take place in Tenerife and expressed interest in the ministry's involvement in discussions on digitalisation, decarbonisation and multimodality, reinforcing a collaborative approach with the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility.
