First CRJ-200 SF and second B737-700FC

Air Wisconsin is about to enter the air cargo market. A regional airline in the USA since 1965 and operating CRJ-200 regional jets for United Airlines as United Express in the Midwest and East Coast, posted a photo showing a CRJ-200 SF "Large Cargo Door" freighter, "freshly out of the paint shop" with a historic Air Wisconsin livery, after being converted by Aeronautical Engineers. The airline announced: "We continue the process to bring this cargo aircraft onto our operating certificate in the coming months."

Meanwhile Pemco, another aircraft conversion specialist from Florida, has delivered a second "Passenger-to-FlexCombi" converted aircraft to Bahrain-based Chisholm Enterprises. Its subsidiary Texel Air, a non-scheduled cargo airline, will operate its second B737-700FC after taking over the first of its kind 13 months ago. (ah)
