FM Logistic opens pharma warehouse in Romania

French logistics and transport services provider FM Logistic has opened a EUR 20 million dedicated cold storage warehouse in Bucharest (Romania) to meet demand from the growing pharma and healthcare industry.

The facility comprises a 10,000 sqm area for the receipt, storage and distribution of temperature-sensitive materials such as vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and medical supplies.

“The FM Logistic cold chain warehouse at Bucharest will help pharmaceutical companies respond to the strong rise in pharmaceutical consumption in Romania,” says Christophe Menivard, FM Logistic’s director for Eastern Europe. The company operates five facilities in Romania, including three logistics platforms totalling 95,000 sqm in Timisoara, Bucharest and Dambovita, and two cross-docking hubs in Cluj and Bacau. (mw)
