Forklift raffle in aid of Unicef
The Irish manufacturer Combilift has produced its 100,000th multi-directional forklift, celebrating the milestone with a charity raffle.
The special model was unveiled at IMHX in Birmingham, where visitors could view it on display. Tickets for the competition offer participants the chance to win the forklift, with all proceeds donated to Unicef Ireland’s Children’s Emergency Fund. Combilift aims to raise EUR 100,000 to support children affected by conflict and natural disasters worldwide.
Unicef provides relief in more than 190 countries, delivering water, medicine, therapeutic food and temporary schooling. "With each ticket sold, participants not only get closer to owning a piece of Combilift history but also help improve the lives of disadvantaged children," the company stated. (js)
