G6 Alliance adjusting PAS
The G6 Alliance has announced that its Pacific Atlantic 2 (PA2) service will temporarily stop calling European ports. Instead it will turn around on the US east coast in response to seasonal changes in market demand.
The service portfolio between Asia and the North American east coast continues unchanged. After the service adjustment, the port rotation of the PA2 service will be:
Kaohsiung – Busan – Kobe – Tokyo – Balboa – Panama – Colon Manzanillo – Miami –Jacksonville – Savannah – Charleston – New York – Norfolk – Charleston – Colon Manzanillo – Panama – Balboa – San Pedro – Oakland – Tokyo – Kobe – Kaohsiung.
The G6 Alliance members are APL, Hapag-Lloyd, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Mitsui OSK Lines, Nippon Yusen Kaisha and Orient Overseas Container Line.
