Gebrüder Weiss opens new terminal near Prague
The Austrian transport and logistics company Gebrüder Weiss (GW) is investing and bolstering its presence in Czechia. The firm recently officially inaugurated a modern handling centre in Jeneč in the immediate vicinity of the capital Prague. GW’s new, EUR 15 million terminal is favourably located close to Prague international airport and has directs links to the major transport arteries around the capital. The site, which houses a 10,000 sqm cross-docking and logistics facility and 3,000 sqm of office space, acts as a base for further expansion in Czechia. After the investment in Jeneč, GW wants to expand its operations in Brunn (Czechia) in the near future.
