Gefco and Würth prolong contract

Würth, a German assembly specialist and tool manufacturer, is prolonging and stepping up its collaboration with the automotive logistics company Gefco in the latter’s home market France. Würth operates two logistics platforms in France, from where its products are distributed throughout the country.

Gefco has so far managed the greater part of Würth’s logistics services and will take on even more tasks over the next three years. To fulfil these additional duties, Gefco will use more of its own staff in Würth’s two logistics facilities and all the Montélimar logistics site’s goods flows will move through Gefco hubs.

Emmanuel Delachambre, president of Gefco France, remarked: "We want to transform Würth's supply chain into a value-adding one." (mw)
