Gefco Deutschland moves to new site in Rhine-Main region
Gefco Deutschland, the German subsidiary of the international logistics service provider Gefco, has commenced services at a new branch office in Mainz, the capital of the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. This location for overland transport services is close to Germany’s A60 and A63 motorways and replaces the Gross-Gerau facility. Gefco coordinates the logistics services for companies in the region from its new Mainz premises, with immediate effect.
The location’s portfolio encompasses procurement logistics for the automobile industry, distribution schemes for the two-wheel sector, the transport of international groupage consignments and handling domestic and international full and part load traffic. Gefco has a 5,000 sqm logistics hall and 56 loading/unloading ramps at its disposal in Mainz. An additional 1,000 sqm are used as offices.
