Hupac expands its intermodal network in Europe

This week, Swiss intermodal operator Hupac is introducing a new connection between Geleen in the Netherlands and Dresden in Germany. The service is suitable for P400 semitrailers.

In a first phase, the shuttle will make four roundtrips a week and expand this service to five weekly roundtrips as from 15 December 2019. Thanks to this connection the shipments can now travel between the Limburg region (west Germany) and east Germany with daily departures.

It also represents a new opportunity for units to Czechia and West Poland. Furthermore, Hupac has increased the number of its shuttle trains between Busto Arsizio and Barcelona from two to three roundtrips per week. This step extends the intermodal offer between Italy and Spain. (ben)
