Iata grows presence in Southeast Asia

MAB Kargo is the latest organisation to become a member of Iata's Cargo iQ as the airline continues to expand across Asia.

By becoming a member of the Iata interest group, MAB Kargo, which operates air cargo services to almost 100 destinations with three A330-200Fs and belly space capacity on Malaysia Airines' aircraft, joins an international network of over 80 airlines, forwarders, ground handlers, and IT companies.

Jagedeswaran Nadrajah, head of cargo operations transformation: "Membership allows us to access operational gap analysis via Cargo iQ data. That enables us to improve our customer services index, and adds value to our product offerings."

Next month, the Cargo iQ team will be in Singapore for the group’s AGM and to conduct Cargo iQ introductory training, to be held alongside the Iata World Cargo Symposium, of which ITJ is a media partner. (ah)
