ICTSI on par with 2019

The Manila-based operator International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI) has reported its audited consolidated financial results for 2020. Its revenues rose by 2% to USD 1.5 billion (USD 1.48 billion in 2019), its ebitda by 6% to USD 876.8 million (USD 830,1 million in 2019) and its net income by 1% to USD 101.8 million.

The group handled almost 10,2 million teu in 2020, just like in the previous year. Consolidated organic volumes, excluding the contribution of ICTSI’s new terminal in Rio de Janeiro, would have decreased by 2% in 2020.

The group’s estimated capital expenditure budget for 2021 is approximately USD 250 million. These funds will be used mainly to complete the MICT expansion project in Manila; ongoing IDRC yard expansion in Matadi (Democratic Republic of the Congo); and a new VICT expansion project in Melbourne (Australia).
