Interoperability push from Circle

Circle group has signed a new €100,000, nine-month contract with an international logistics provider to enhance digital interoperability in European intermodal logistics as the company reported. The project aims to align transport documentation and supply chain processes with EU regulation 1056/2020 on electronic freight transport information (eFTI). At its core is Circle’s 'Milos Tfp' platform, which integrates with Sima, a Zucchetti group software specialist, as well as rail operators, shipping lines and logistics hubs.

By extending the Milos federation ecosystem with digital connectors for e-CMR and e-DDT, the initiative will allow automated pre-alerts, faster access times and improved information exchange across transport nodes. "This project is a concrete step towards truly integrated and federated logistics," said Luca Abatello, CEO of the Circle group. (js)
