JAL expands freight flights with Kalitta Airlines

Japan Airlines (JAL) is set to increase its weekly code-share freight flights with Kalitta Airlines from three to five. This expansion aims to meet the surging freight demand between Asia and north America. Since May 2025, JAL has enhanced its airfreight transport by integrating large freight aircraft through its partnership with Kalitta, which has proven essential in addressing the growing logistics needs.

The new flight schedule, running from 10 December to 28 March, features various routes operated by Boeing 777-300ERSF and 747-400F aircraft, capable of transporting high-value goods such as electronics and chemicals. This adjustment strengthens JAL's transportation capacity, contributing to sustainable growth within the logistics infrastructure. JAL is committed to high-quality cargo handling, reinforcing its position in the competitive airfreight market.
