K+N opens integrated logistics control centre
Kuehne+Nagel has unveiled its first regional logistics control centre (LCC) for integrated logistics activities in South and Central America. The Bogotá (Colombia) hub will enable K+N to further expand its offering of end-to-end solutions from a single source.
The LCC was developed in response to growing demand for integrated logistics services and requirements for lean and demand-driven supply chains in South and Central America. It will offer digital supply chain management in a shared environment.
Ingo Goldhammer, K+N's president for South and Central America, pointed out that “the investment represents our commitment to the region. The LCC will benefit multinational corporations with complex supply chains and also enhance our partnerships with pharmaceuticals, healthcare and beauty industry customers, thanks to its upgraded infrastructure, optimised services and customer-related teams.” (mw)
