Kottmeyer new BGL supervisory board chairman
At its recent supervisory board meeting, the Federal Association of Road Haulage, Logistics and Disposal (BGL), based in Frankfurt am Main, unanimously elected Horst Kottmeyer as supervisory board chairman and Thomas Heinbokel as deputy chairman. The other members of the said board are Henriette Koppenhöfer, Hans Ach and Hubertus Kobernuss.
The choice of Kottmeyer ensures continuity at the association’s top level, as he has been a member of the BGL steering committee since 2012. And thanks to the election of Heinbokel the composition of the supervisory board is now regionally and structurally balanced.
These latest appointments finally conclude BGL’s structural reorganisation which began in September 2017 under the aegis of BGL president Adalbert Wandt and his steering committee colleagues. (mw)
