Matthias Suhr, director of the airport in the triangle formed by France, Germany and Switzerland, underscored the significance of airfreight for the location, whose opportunities and possibilities were investigated in a study carried out by Professor Erik Hofmann from the University of St Gallen (Switzerland).
Martin Bürki, CEO of Ericsson Switzerland, talked about the new 5G technology which will soon be rolled out and its potential for the logistics industry, whilst the Iata freight boss Glyn Hughes presented the current value of airfreight (photo).
