Logistics meets climate goals
LKW Walter will present solutions for full truck load logistics at Transport Logistic 2025 in Munich. Under the banner 'Green transport meets digital excellence', the company wants to highlight how its 'green corridors' reduced CO₂ emissions by up to 90% by combining intermodal transport with alternative fuels. With over 15,000 cranable trailers and 300 weekly departures, it operates a large european intermodal network.
Further innovations to be presented include the eCMR digital consignment note, the 'Connect platform', and 'Loads today now', a freight booking tool for verified partners. LKW Walter is aiming for net zero by 2045, with -30% CO₂ by 2030 and -70% by 2040. (js)
