Lothar Thoma replaces Heinz Senger-Weiss


Heinz Senger-Weiss has announced his withdrawal from the operative management of Gebrüder Weiss. The managing director air & sea will leave the transport and logistics company for personal reasons on 31 December 2019."We respect his decision and thank him for his commitment to the company,” says Rudolf Christian Stiehl, supervisory board chairman at Gebrüder Weiss.

 

After various international activities, Senger-Weiss assumed the position of regional managing director air & sea at Gebrüder Weiss in 2003 and became a member of the management board in 2005. Ever since, he has been in charge of the air & sea, sales and customs divisions.

 

With effect from 1 September 2019, Dr. Lothar Thoma will start working for Gebrüder Weiss in the air & sea division. Born in Baden-Württemberg (Germany), he has over 20 years of experience in the logistics industry. (mw)
